How to Upload a Minecraft Skin

After you make a Minecraft skin, download the 64x64 PNG and upload it through the Minecraft account, launcher, or Dressing Room flow that applies to your edition and device.

1. Export a 64x64 PNG

Use the Minecraft skin generator to create the first draft or open the Minecraft skin editor if you already have a PNG. Keep the file as a 64x64 PNG so Minecraft can read the skin atlas correctly.

2. Upload in your Minecraft skin flow

Java players usually upload a skin from the official launcher or account profile flow. Bedrock players use Dressing Room and Classic Skins where custom imports are available on that device.

3. Reopen the editor if seams look wrong

If the face, sleeves, jacket, or leg details are misaligned, return to the editor, touch up the 64x64 texture, and export again.

4. Compare public examples if you want a second reference

Browse MC Skins Explore when you want more ideas, downloadable examples, or a public page to compare before you upload the finished PNG.
